Matthew masih berkelana di Thailand, dan menikmati pertualanan menakjubkan

First day off in Koh Phangnan, and as luck would have it, it #rain -ed all day! But we didn't let that stop us. Bought some 30 baht ponchos at 7-11 and walked to #Hollystone. . It's usually a night spot. We got there and they were just cleaning up from the party the night before. We asked if we could hide out from the rain for a bit. They said no problem. Found a game of checkers and a guy there took a nap as we played. . The owner came out to watch our game. His name was pronounced "Oot" (grabbed a selfie with him before I left). We offered him some nuts and seeds - the little snacks we had for the day. He joined us and then walked away. 2 minutes later he came back with some hot tea filled with ginger and honey and some peanuts. After we finished he got us more peanuts and made another batch with some limes added. Then he came back again with some strange fruit and gave it to us. Although he asked for absolutely nothing, we left him some baht in a tip jar. . The rain stopped for a few minutes and we left.
